The face brick for building is produced by the stages of mixing and kneading sandy soil, clay and kaoline press-mouldig to make a normal brick having holes in the body, firing at 900 deg.C for 12 hours, coating the surface of the fired body with the glaze having compsn. of 10 wt.% silica, 30 wt.% feldspar, 30 wt.% mauilite, 30 wt.% aoline and some colorant, and refiring at 1300 deg.C for 24 hrs. The produced brick has a light weght, beautiful external appearance.
