<p>A treatment of waste water is effected using a contact material in an aeration tank. The contact material comprises a core line material untwisted but bound threads wound helically around the core line material and untwisted PVC filaments in the shape of loops extending diametrically from the wound sections of the threads. The method comprises (a) pretreating the waste water to remove suspended particles, (b) introducing the pretreated water into the areation tank, and (c) contacting the water with a microbe proliferated and cultivated in the treating agent.</p> |
