<p>NEW MATERIAL:Title compounds of formulaI(R is lower alkyl; R<1> is linear hydrocarbyl that may be substituted with cyclic hydrocarbyl group on the terminal; n is 0, 1-9, R<2> is H or R when n is 0 and H when n is 1-9; R<3> is R; R<4-5> are H, R respectively; R<6-7> are carboxyl groups that may be amidized respectively) or their salts. EXAMPLE:2-[2-Acetamide-2-deoxy-6-0-(geranylacetyl-beta-alanyl)-D-gluco se-3-0-yl]-D- propionyl-L-alanyl-D-iso-glutamine sodium salt. USE:Title compounds have low toxicity and excellent action to increase immunological function thus being useful as anti-infective, carcinostatics, and synthetic intermediates of high-polymeric glucosamine derivatives. PREPARATION:The condensation reaction between a compound of formula II (R<4>'<-7>' are R<4-7> or the hydroxyl groups and others of which are protected and a compound of formula III is conducted and when necessary, protecting groups are removed to produce the objective compound of formulaI.</p> |
