The surface cleaning device includes an e.m. coil (1) which is made multi-layered in order to provide increased strength of the pulse applied to the surface undergoing cleaning treatment and to improve the conversion efficiency for the pulsed current source energy conversion into mechanical power. The number (R) of layers used is between one and five, with each coil made as a spiral of current conducting square section bar (7), the layers (8) being arranged in parallel planes and joined concordantly. - A pulsed magnetic field is set up around the, e.g. three-layer e.m. coil (1) when a pulsed current is successively fed into each layer (8) of the coil (1). As a result of interaction of this field with eddy currents, a pulse of force S(Nz) is transferred on to the surface (5) being cleaned, where elastic vibrations are set up to clean the surface of sticky substances. |
