An elbow-type medium or high voltage electrical device (100) includes a longitudinal body (102), a first connector end (108) formed substantially perpendicularly to an axial direction of the longitudinal body (102), and an integral grounding element end (110) substantially perpendicularly to the axial direction of the longitudinal body (102) and opposing the first connector end (108). The first connector end (108) includes a first axial bore (114) configured to receive a bushing element therein. The grounding element end (110) includes a second axial bore (116) formed therein for receiving a conductive grounding element (113) therein. The grounding element (113), when inserted into the second axial bore (116) includes an exposed portion projecting above a surface of the grounding element end. The exposed portion of the grounding element is configured for attachment by a grounded hot line clamp (400) to ground the electrical connector assembly. |
