The improved connection for welding according to the invention is noteworthy in that the bearing face 1-2 has, beyond the groove 1-1, a lip 1-3 which overhangs externally with respect to the lower part 1-4 of the bearing face 1-2 in an offset plane, it being possible for the said lip 1-3 to come into contact with the front face 3-2 of the peripheral bearing surface 3-1 facing the smooth component to be welded when the constituent components of the connection are tightened and coupled. <IMAGE>
