The invention relates to a device that makes it easier to read a keyed grid or a catalogue, each row being highlighted by holding a movable ruler attached to the support over it. It comprises a holder consisting of two boards 1 and 2 hinged on a spine 3: a magazine is inserted into this, the desired page containing a diagram 4 is freed, without being detached, and slipped between the strap 5 and the top board 1, and the complete assembly is immobilized. The end of this transparent strap, which is hinged to the edge 6, is secured at 7 on the back of the holder. At the end of a row the user moves a magnetic ruler 9 which shows the desired references, by visually isolating the lines to be read one by one.
