PURPOSE:To discharge a sludge by separation water, to prevent the fouling of a roll and to improve a dehydration efficiency by making a planet roll and sun roll freely rotatable, forming the end part of the sun roll or its vicinity in smaller diameter than that of the center part and forming a groove in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:The sludge 1 to be dehydrated is fed onto a traveling filter cloth belt 2, transferred with executing a gravity dehydration by a gravity dehydration part G, traveled at the outside of plural planet rolls 11 with being stretched by reaching to a shearing dehydration part X with interposing the sludge 1 between both filter cloth belts 2, 3 by superposing by facing with the filter cloth belt 3 by its turn and receives the shearing force by the planet roll 11 in order, but at this time the shearing times of the planet roll 11 are increased by adjusting the rotation of the sun roll 10 by a variable speed motor and the dehydration can be executed efficiently. At this time a groove 15 is provided in the circumferential direction of the end part or vicinity of the sun roll 10, the separated water of the sludge dehydrated by the planet roll 11 is drained through the groove 15 and the dehydration efficiency is increased. |
