PURPOSE:To stably ensure a necessary amount of injection in a suction stroke by constituting a feed pump so as to communicate with a rod chamber, when a distribution port communicates with no distribution passage, further with any suction port communicating with a shuttle chamber. CONSTITUTION:In a suction stroke where a distribution port 32 communicates with no distribution passage 1 2 following rotation of a distributor rotor 3, when any suction port 33 of the rotor 3 communicates with a communication path 21 of a shuttle chamber 18, a vertical groove 37 corresponding to an annular groove 34 of the rotor 3 communicates with a rod chamber 20 through a communication path 22. Here into the rod chamber 20, fuel, pressurized by a feed pump 7, is supplied through a pressure fuel passage 15 and the annular groove 34. In this way, a shuttle 17 is adapted to a stopper 19 and moved till a position is restricted, supplying storage fuel in the shuttle chamber 18 into a fuel passage 31 and a pump chamber 27, and both plungers 26 are moved to the outside in a radial direction of the rotor 3, spreading the pump chamber 27. |
