<p>PURPOSE: To guarantee invariant release position, particularly invariant open angle, by letting at least one of structural members of upper, lower and holding frame be integrally formed with a spring element directly thereon, and elastically supporting a free end of the spring element with facing structural members or recording media for automatic release. CONSTITUTION: A package consists of an upper portion 10 and a lower portion 11, which completely houses a cassette 20 in the state of closure because these portions are connected to each other in the manner possible to open and shut via a hinge 13. Spring elements 10A and 10B or 11A and 11B are disposed between the upper portion 10 and a holding frame 12 and between the lower portion 11 and the holding frame 12. These spring elements separate the upper portion 10 and the lower portion 11 by a prescribed angle and concurrently bring the holding frame 12 for a cassette 20 to an angular position that nearly agrees with the bisector of the open angle between the upper portion 10 and the lower portion 11 when releasing an engaged portion 14 disposed sidewise because the spring elements are compressed when the package was closed.</p> |
