<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject textile product exhibiting no tackiness at ambient temperatures by applying a bi-reactive heat-adhesive polymer having reactive and/or reactivable functional groups differing from each other to a textile support followed by setting the polymer onto the textile support through activating the 1st functional group. CONSTITUTION: This heat-bonding textile product is obtained by applying a crosslinkable polymer having two reactive and/or reactivable functional groups differing from each other to a textile support followed by activating the 1st functional group under such conditions as not to affect the 2nd functional group to effect bonding of the polymer to the textile support; wherein this textile product is such that the 2nd functional group remains intact; wherein the above crosslinkable polymer to be used is a blend of two kinds of polymers each having one of the reactive functional groups, or a homopolymer having in the chain at least two kinds of functional groups reactive under different conditions. This textile product is applied to another textile product such as a backing fabric, interlining fabric or curtaining fabric followed by activating the 2nd functional group to effect bonding of the former textile product to the latter textile product.</p> |
