DIGITAL SCANNING CONVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To form a digital scanning converter(DSC) performing interpolation in a raster direction and smoothing the image on a CRT to enhance the image quality thereof by applying linear interpolation to a pixel having no data from data on both sides thereof to perform the interpolation of smooth data. CONSTITUTION:A next data distance judge circuit 11 for judging the distance up to a D-type flip-flop DFF having the next data at every clock and a previous data distance judge distance judge circuit 12 counting the distance between present pixel and the pixel of the previous data and imparting data showing the number of pixels from the present pixel to the previous data to a weighting generating circuit 13 are provided. The weighting generaing circuit 13 receives the data relating to the distance from the present data or pixel to the previous data and the distance up to the next data in the DFF to supply the ratio of both distances to an interpolator 4. The interpolator 14 performs the interpolation operation of data on the basis of the previous data, the next data and the data of the ratio of the distances from both data to the present pixel.
