The present disclosure is related to a platform to promote the use of conventional digital television, together with a high-speed wireless network, as an intelligent remote terminal for home use. Thus, apart from using a digital television as a means to access television programs, the invention can be used as a window to request public services, to follow a public procedure, to communicate bidirectionally with officials in charge of said public services, to receive alerts related to public services or procedures. The enhancement of a digital TV as an intelligent IT terminal is achieved with an integrated platform of three electronic subsystems and a digital programming system. The basic components of this platform are shown in Figure 1, while in Figure 3, the complete set of items is shown in the user's home. The complete set comprises: the ITTV platform, the digital TV, and a remote control / keyboard. The digital television is considered as an element that already exists in the use r’s home. The remote control / keyboard can be purchased separately or provided in conjunction with the ITTV platform. This invention is directed to offer information services and broadband and high speed internet to an unprotected social sector. |
