<p>The device sounds an alarm before the load of the front wheel of a wheel loader reaches a maximum allowable load. Even when the wheel loader is lifting a load, the alarm device continues to sound the alarm so as to ensure that the operator notices the overload. The overload alarm is given when the loadage exceeds the normal load. For the detection, the relation between the height of a hinge pin (H) on the end of a boom (L) and the hydraulic pressure in a boom cylinder (C) is used. The alarm device is equipped with an electric circuit which comprises at least two contactless switches (11, 12) for detecting the height of the hinge pin (H), at least two hydraulic switches (21, 22) for detecting the hydraulic pressure in the boom cylinder (C), and at least four relays (31, 32, 33, 34) for operating the alarm device.</p> |
