The device is for non-cutting forming of tube ends. It consists of a tool head with a pyramidal polygon, carrying movable segments. These are axially supported at one end by a pressure section, connected to a hollow stationary chord, and moved along grooves in the section. The polygon is carried on a mandrel, which is connected to a piston (28). The polygon (13) is surrounded by a second pyramidal hollow polygon (14), with inclined jacket faces carrying movable segments (18), also moving in T-shaped grooves in the pressure section (19). The polygon is connected to a sleeve (25), with piston (29), and the two pistons, with a cylindrical recess (30, 31) of the chord (24), form a piston cylinder unit.
