A non-driven rear axle has a transverse carrier (1) which is attached to the underframe of the vehicle with a total of two rubber bearings (2) and to which two link arms (5, 6) of a semi-trailing arm (7) are coupled on both sides of the vehicle by means of link bearings (3, 4). These link bearings (3, 4) and the rubber bearings (2) are arranged in such a way that at least the permanent forces acting in the link bearings (3, 4) produce moments which are of identical magnitude with respect to the connection line (2) but are directed in opposite directions of rotation. <IMAGE>
