<p>A prefilled syringe comprising a phial (11) containing a measured quantity of an injectable product, a plunger (5) to expel the product out of the phial through a needle, and a two-part housing (1, 2) for the phial and plunger in which the two parts are connected by interengaging screw threads (3, 4). A stop surface on one housing part cooperates with a corresponding surface (7) on the plunger to limit displacement of the plunger (5) into the phial (11), and the position relative to the phial of the stop surface can be varied by rotating the two housing parts (1, 2) relative to one another. A graduated dosing ring (19) is mounted coaxial with, adjacent to, and rotatable relative to both housing parts (1, 2).</p> |
