<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to slide stair-rail coping itself and to promote construction efficiency by mounting the lower parts of balusters to mounting plates provided to treads and landings, inserting the upper parts of the balusters into baluster tie rods, and fitting into the underneath grooves of the stair-rail copings. CONSTITUTION:Newel posts 2 are respectively erected to risers 11a and 11b, providing mounting plates 4 on each of steps 11c between the newel posts 2 and 2, and balusters 3 are erected on them to construct stair-rail copings 5 on the upper parts of the newel posts 2 and the balusters 3. After that, tenons 31 are provided to the lower parts of the balusters 3 to fit into mortises 41 bored in the mounting plates 4, and tenons 32 of the upper parts of the balusters 3 and baluster tie rods 6 are fitted into mortises 61 of the baluster tie rods 6. Channels 51 are provided lengthwise underneath of the stair-rail copings 5, and the stair-rail copings 5 is so constituted that they are capable of sliding in a state of fitting the baluster tie rods 6. According to the constitution, time for field working is saved, and work efficiency can be promoted.</p> |
