PURPOSE:To inform an operator of starving in part in advance so as to be replenished by permitting a counter which is provided in corresponding to the kind of parts, to be added or substracted every time when a part is taken out of a tray, and thereby informing the operator of the time when counting by a counter amounts to a specified one. CONSTITUTION:When the elevator 5 of a part feeder 1 is moved vertically so that it is stopped over a position where a tray 3 housing the part 2 of a chip in, is drawn out, a plate 4 on which the tray 3 is rested, is drawn out by a tray draw-out pawl 10, an adsorption head 20 is moved to a position designated by a tray matrix so that the part 2 of the chip is absorbed so as to be installed onto a printed circuit base board (not shown). In this case, (1) is subtracted from the remaining number of the part 2 of the chip within the RAM 37 and the remaining number of the total of the part. When the remaining number of a kind of parts within the tray 3 is agreed with the remaining number notified in advance on starving in part, which is detected by the CPU 36 so that an illumination type tray set affirmation switch 29 is flashed in order to let an operator be informed of what has happened. |
