<p>A railway rim having a flange (2) and a rolling surface of a variable profile with an area of a concave surface constituted by a paraboloid of rotation with a generatrix described by the formula y = axb, where a = 4.8 - 5.4, b = 0.23 - 0.25. The area of the concave surface conjugates with an area of a convex surface generated by a smooth curve which, in turn, conjugates with an area of a conical surface whose generatrix has an inclination from 1:5 to 1:20, the line of conjugation between the areas of concave and convex surfaces being situated in the rolling circle.</p> |
