Device for securing a valve unit in position inside a housing, in particular inside the valve housing of a steering valve. The valve unit is inserted into a bore in the housing; a step or projection in the bore forms a locating place for the valve unit in one direction while on the other side, a stop element can be inserted into the bore; the valve unit is provided with a threaded bore on its front surface facing away from the step or stop element. The stop element includes at least one near disc-shaped segment (14A, 14B, 44) having in its inner area a recess (20); when this segment is in position, it is located before the front face (11) of the valve unit (1); its outer area can be pushed radially into a peripheral groove (13) of the housing (3). When the segment (14A, 14B, 44) is pushed into the peripheral groove (13), its central recess (20) has a larger diameter than the threaded bore (12). A screw (22) can be screwed into the threaded bore (12), the outer underside of its head resting against the segment (14A, 14B, 44). |
