PURPOSE:To thin out the picture data of a memory, to send the data to a computing element and to eliminate a compression processing time by providing function for a read address generator to set the X and Y direction increment of an address to an arbitrary value. CONSTITUTION:A read address generator 3 is equipped with functions 11 and 12 to set the X direction increment and Y direction increment of the address to the arbitrary value. Thus, the picture data of a picture memory 5 can be sent to a computing element 6 while thinning out the data and the compression processing time of the picture data by a computer 7 is eliminated. |
