<p>The mould frame comprises at least one rigid transversal structural element (37) placed in a zone essentially remote from the ends of the frame. The transversal element (37) comprises two terminal parts (37a, 37b) between which are placed support beams (40) of the mould lateral walls (25). Jacks (45) each mounted on a terminal support part (37a, 37b) of the structural element (37) are connected by their movable rod (45') to the beam (40) in zones remote from the longitudinal beam ends. The jacks (45) serve both to shift the walls between their open and closed positions and to clamp the mould. The structural element (37) completes the transmission of the clamping stresses. The bending moment of the beams (40) remains low, since the points where the loads are applied to the beams are remote from the ends of said beams and are chosen according to the mould clamping conditions.</p> |
