PURPOSE:To eliminate the monitoring of source data and to rapidly execute edition processing by continuously extracting and processing the prescribed volume of stored data from a data buffer after starting edition operation. CONSTITUTION:Prior to edition operation, the back type decimal data of a specified size extracted from a memory 1 are checked and simultaneously converted into unpack type decimal data, the converted data are stored in a buffer 6, and after starting the edition operation, source data are continuously extracted from the buffer 6 one by one byte. Since the source data can be continuously extracted one by one byte without being interrupted at the time of starting the editing operation, the edition instruction processing can be accelerated. Since the buffer 6 is cleared by charging characters before storing the unpack type decimal data, the contents should be filled with the charging characters when the source data are consumed before pattern data are consumed, but it is unnecessary to monitor the source length in order to detect the lack of the source data. |
