PURPOSE:To prevent printing quality from lowering by avoiding sticking of an unnecessary recording medium stuck to near a slit by a method wherein before the recording medium is changed to have a feature in which it can be discharged by turning on a preheater, a gas flow valve is turned off. CONSTITUTION:Negative pressure is preliminarily applied to a recording medium with a negative pressure generator 5. Under a state in which a gas flow is off by turning off a gas flow valve V1, a preheater 2 is turned on. An unnecessary recording medium near a slit can be dissolved with the preheater 2 if no gas flow exists at this time. Further the gas flow valve V1 turns on under this state and the unnecessary recording medium to be dissolved can be removed by flying. Thereafter, a valve V2 is turned off and the negative pressure applied to a tank is released to prepare photographic printing. |
