PURPOSE:To generate a pattern in accordance with resolution by providing the vector pattern generator with a vector pattern storage means and an address control means and generating the vector patterns of respective resolution values by repeating the vector pattern of a specific resolution value. CONSTITUTION:The vector pattern storage means 1 stores the vector pattern of the specific resolution in a vector pattern forming device for plotting a vector pattern. The address control part 2 sets up magnification information e.g. in the vector pattern with the specific resolution, controls the addresses of the means 1 in each dot corresponding to the magnification information and generates the vector patterns of respective resolution values by repeating the vector patterns of the specific resolution. Thus, the vector patterns with the high resolution can be generated by repeating the pattern with the minimum resolution without preparing vector patterns over the whole resolution levels. |
