PURPOSE:To form a uniform toner thin layer extending over a long period and to obtain a visible image of a high quality by bringing a surface layer of a layer thickness control roller to hardening processing and setting hardness of a part which comes into contact with the layer thickness control roller of a toner scraping blade so as to become smaller than surface hardness of the layer thickness control roller. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer of a layer thickness control roller 5 is brought to hardening processing, and a part which comes into contact with a layer thickness control roller 5 of a toner scraping blade 9 is constituted of a metallic elastic body having hardness being smaller than surface hardness of the layer thickness control roller 5. Accordingly, even if the blade 9 is worn out, wear of the surface of the layer thickness control roller 5 is suppressed, and it is prevented that uneven abrasion is generated in both of them, and a flaw is generated. In such a way, a uniform toner thin layer can be formed extending over a long period, and a visible image of a high quality is obtained. |
