METHOD FOR FABRICATING PAPER FOR BOTTLE LABELS

Coated paper for labels, specially adapted to the conditions of utilization in breweries, is fabricated by applying to the verso side of the fibrous medium a hydrophilic sauce having a fast reaction to water so as to accelerate the absorption of water. The strict control of the moisture rate of the paper during the manufacturing process provides for a remarkable dimensional stability and an excellent inherent flatness in a relatively large moisture range.
