<p>PURPOSE: To provide a pilot-controlled direction switching valve used as an intake or exhaust valve by disposing first and second check valves so that first and third pressure medium chambers are connected to inlet chambers at the time of feeding media thereto, and the inlet chambers are respectively shut off to the third and first medium chambers. CONSTITUTION: For using a pilot-controlled direction switching valve as an intake valve, a third pressure medium chamber connecting portion 35 is connected to a pressure medium source, and a first pressure medium connecting portion 38 is communicated with atmosphere. In this case, since the first valves 19 and 39 of the direction switching valve used as an outlet valve are situated in closed positions, a load is connected to atmosphere through a third pressure medium chamber 20, the opened outlet valves 17 and 39, a first pressure medium chamber 18 and the first pressure medium connecting portion 38, and no pressure is applied. Also, since second valves 22 and 28 used as inlet valves are situated in closed positions a third pressure medium chamber 23 connected to the connecting portion 35 is shut off to a second pressure medium chamber 20 connected to a load via a second pressure medium connecting portion 21, and a pressure medium in the medium chamber 23 is prevented from reaching the load.</p> |
