PURPOSE:To form a display picture in a short time by successively updating display data concerning continuous picture elements with the picture element, through which a line drawing passes as a reference. CONSTITUTION:The picture processor is provided with picture element detecting means 35-37 to detect picture elements S1,1, S2,1...S10,4, through which a line drawing L expressed by drawing data DB1 passes, and display data updating means 35-37 to update the display data with the picture elements S1,1, S2,1...S10,4, which are detected by these detecting means 35-37, as the reference and a video memory control circuit 7C to successively read the display data stored in a video memory circuit 7B. By successively updating the display data of continuous picture elements S1,1-S4,1, S1,2-S4,2, S4,2-S7,2, S4,3-S7,3... in a horizontal or vertical direction with the picture elements S1,1, S2,1...S10,4 as the reference, the line drawing L is displayed with prescribed thickness. |
