PURPOSE:To easily check information (data) set up in a ROM even in the case of using an on-line device by sending a set information reading signal together with an address set up in an address setting part after stopping a CPU by a timing signal generated from a reading timing signal generating part. CONSTITUTION:The address of the ROM 3 storing a selecting information to be read out is set up in the address setting part 4 and then a stop request signal (the inverse of HALT) is outputted from the reading timing signal generating part 5 to the CPU 1 to obtain bus occupation right. Then, an enable signal is outputted from the generation part 5 to a bus driver and a signal (READ DATA) for reading out the set information is sent to the ROM 3 together with the address set up in the address setting part 4. Consequently, the set information (data) is read out, latched by a set data latching part 6 and displayed on a set data display part 7.
