PURPOSE:To efficiently lower noise by combining a tire with a rim and constituting a tread in such a way that its circumferential grooves for dividing ribs and partition parts for equally dividing them into two which are adapted not to come in contact with each other, in a grounding zone with normal internal pressure and load condition. CONSTITUTION:The tread T of a tire comprises at least one circumferential groove 1 and a plurality of ribs 3 which are divided by this groove 1 and both ends of the tread. In each circumferential groove 1 is formed a partition part 2 for equally dividing it two halves. In this case, even in a grounding zone having normal internal pressure and load condition with the tire combined with a rim, the width do of the circumferential groove 1 and the width dr of the partition part are respectively set in such a manner that the wall part of the circumferential groove 1 does not come into contact with the partition part 2 so that a margin of distance for forming a clearance 4 may be secured. Therefore, the tire is combined with the rim and the relation between the width dw of the circumferential groove 1 and the width dr of the partition part 2 in the grounding zone of the normal internal pressure and load condition is set, for example, to dr<=0.9dw. |
