PURPOSE:To prevent the overrun of an original and to stop the same surely in a reference position for copying by making the material of a roller larger in coefficient of friction than a conveying belt and making the speed of the roller higher than the speed of the conveying belt. CONSTITUTION:A motor is run by a signal for instructing the feeding of the original prepared in an original supplying port 8 from a copying machine body 1, whereby a conveying belt 3 is driven. Before the original 5 conveyed in accordance with the driving of the belt 3 arrives at a reference position, a signal is obtained from an original detecting sensor or the timer from the starting of the belt 3, and an electromagnetic clutch 14 is connected by said signal. Then, a roller 4 revolves in the direction opposite from the belt 3, and the original 5 conveyed switftly stops by abutting on the roller 4. At this time, the preceding end of the original 5 tries to intrude between the roller 4 and the belt 3 but the preceding end of the original receives the effect of the roller 4 and is stripped from the belt 3, whereby the original is stopped surely. Polyurethane, SBR, etc. are preferable as the material for the roller 4 if the surface of the belt 3 is neoprene rubber. |
