<p>This method uses a mould (31) formed from a fixed part (32) and a mobile part (33) whose adjacent faces carry an imprint (34), the fixed part being pierced with an opening (37) connecting the said imprint with a device for supplying metal which is at least partially liquid and under pressure, an ejection plate and possibly a forging jack, characterised in that during the feeding of the mould, at least part of the energy due to the pressure exerted on the metal is transmitted to mobile covers (41) which slide in housings (40) formed through the entire thickness of the wall of the mould and placed opposite isolated masses (35), the said energy is recovered by compression of elastic systems (42) integral with the said covers and it is returned to the metal by expansion of the said systems at the moment at which the pressure which is exerted on the metal by the intermediary of the feeding becomes less than the pressure exerted by the said systems. This method is also applicable to a thixoforming die or to a direct liquid forging die. <IMAGE></p> |
