PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that maintains a battery case in a predetermined shape by suppressing rise in internal pressure of the battery case and includes a coat in a preferable mode on the surface of a negative electrode active material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the present invention includes: preparing a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material (S10); forming an electrode body using the prepared positive and negative electrodes (S20); storing the electrode body in a battery case and injecting a nonaqueous electrolyte in the battery case to manufacture an assembly (S30), the nonaqueous electrolyte including, as an electrolyte, an oxalate complex compound containing at least one of phosphorus and boron, as a constituent element, and a calcium compound containing calcium as a constituent element and capable of releasing calcium ions by being dissociated in the nonaqueous electrolyte; and performing initial charge up to predetermined charging voltage to the assembly (S40). |
