1. Vertical inclination gun (10) with a device (17, 25) to lock the elevation of the gun barrel (12), comprising two parts (17, 25), i.e. a cylinder (17) and a piston (25), which divides the cylinder (17) into two chambers (44, 45), one part of which is hinged onto the gun barrel (12) and the other part onto a stationary gun carriage (13), whereby both parts (17, 25) are displaced relative to each other whilst elevating the gun barrel (12), with a sealable through-opening (29, 40, 41) on the piston (25) through which hydraulics medium flows from one chamber (44) on one side of the piston (25) into the other chamber (45) on the other side of the piston (25) as long as the through-opening (29, 40, 41) is open, with means (31, 34, 36) for closing the through-opening (29, 40, 41) in order to lock the gun barrel (12) at a certain elevation, characterised in that the through-opening (29, 40, 41) has a single radial bore (30) including two non-return valves (29) which are operatable by means of a rod (34) with a single conical surface (36), with a first bore (40) which connects the one chamber (45) with the radial bore (39), and with a second bore (41) which connects the other chamber (44) with the radial bore (30).
