<p>PURPOSE:To move a cursor on a CRT screen and to input three-dimensional position information by providing the input system with a means capable of changing only the (x, y) coordinates by moving the cursor on the CRT screen, a means capable of changing only the z coordinate and a means for switching those two means. CONSTITUTION:A mode switching circuit 2 determines whether the output data from a mouse 1 can be outputted as the data of the (x, y) coordinates or as the data of the z coordinate in accordance with the button information of the mouse 1. An (x, y) output circuit 3 transforms the moving variable of the mouse 1 into (x, y) coordinates and stores the transformed value in a three-dimensional data storing register 5 as an output value and a (z) output circuit 4 transforms the moving variable of the mouse 1 into the (z) coordinate and stores the transformed value in the register 5 as an output value. Thereby, a perspective projection display circuit 7 knows the three-dimensional coordinate position of the current mouse cursor from the contents of the register 5, transforms the mouse cursor shape data of a mouse cursor shape data storing register 6 into two-dimensional coordinate data and displays the data on the CRT 8 as the mouse cursor shape in the three-dimensional coordinates.</p> |
