<p>PURPOSE:To prevent undesired increase in tape tension at high speed driving mode by driving an auxiliary post in response to an operating mode, moving the post to a prescribed position at a high speed driving mode so as to form a tape running path in which no tape is wound on a tracking guide post. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary posts 3, 4 to wind a tape T on tracking guide posts 1, 2 are provided. Then a tape running path is revised so as to act on the tape T at recording and reproduction requiring tracking regulation for the tracking guide posts 1, 2 and the winding on the tape T onto the tracking guide posts 1, 2 is released at the high speed mode such as FF/REW mode. Thus, the tension load of the taped T at high speed driving is suppressed.</p> |
