MANUFACTURE OF INJECTION MOLDED SHOE

PURPOSE:To obtain a product of high quality value by placing a bag-shaped instep cover with its toe portion back side applied with a reinforcing core over a last, combining it with a sole mold, and injecting plastic or rubber into the cavity. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing core 3 made of muslin is glued with an adhesive such as ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer to the back side toe portion of an instep cover 1 of PVC-based synthetic leather backed with a polyurethane foam for example. The instep cover 1 is sewed 5 together with a middle sole 4 to form a bag-shaped instep cover 6. The instep cover is placed over a last 7 and combined with a shoe sole mold 8. Urethane foam material liquid 10 is injected through a nozzle hole 9 to fill the cavity. A product is obtained by drawing it out after solidification.
