A tape feeder is configured so that an arm-shaped holding member (41) which holds the upper side of a tape supplier (21) mounted to a feeder body (13) is supported in a cantilever manner at a position on the side on which the tape supplier (21) is mounted, the holding member (41) having provided on the upper surface thereof: an operation panel (42) for operating the tape feeder (11); and a grip member (40) grasped by a worker when the worker carries the tape feeder (11). The tape feeder (11) is further provided with a connection member (43) which can be switched to a state in which the connection member (43) connects the holding member (41) and the feeder body (13) to support the holding member (41), and to a state in which the connection is released to enable the mounting of the tape supplier (21). When a worker carries the tape feeder (11) with the tape supplier (21) removed from the tape feeder (11), the holding member (41) and the feeder body (13) are connected by the connection member (43) to prevent the root portion of the holding member (41) from being bent and deformed by the load of the feeder body (13). |
