An affixation section (23) has three screw-insertion sections (23d1, 23d2, 23d3) which are affixed to a caliper, and the screw insertion sections (23d1, 23d2, 23d3) are arranged surrounding an output shaft (39). Consequently, a case (21) can be firmly affixed to the caliper at the three affixation portions. Also, a "plane" is formed by connecting the three affixation portions. As a result, the deflection of the case (21) relative to the caliper can be effectively reduced. Further, the torsion of the case (21) itself can be reduced, and the invention can be sufficiently adapted for use in a vehicle such as a truck in which high torque is required.
