<p>PURPOSE: To provide a durable expandable bag with a high utility value by making a middle part of a sidewall between the top wall and the bottom wall to form a surrounding space be slid between upper part and lower part walls and slidable by a latch means. CONSTITUTION: For instance, the same latches 26 to keep contracted and expanded conditions are arranged in opposite parts of sidewalls. The latch member 28 is equipped with an E-shaped adjusting groove. Compressed springs 56 accepted by cavities 58 at the middle part of a side wall are arranged in the four corners of a wall 14 and fit into guide pins 60 of the upper part 16 and the lower part 18 of the sidewall. When this bag is contracted and the latch is pushed down, the spring 56 pushes the upper part 16 and the lower part 18 of the sidewall separate into an expanded condition. The completion of the expanded condition is automatic. To move to the contracted condition, the latch is released moving a middle member 20 of the sidewall toward the bottom wall 12.</p> |
