PURPOSE:To make the correspondence to the change in the access time of elements of a storage device and to the change in the types of elements easy and sure, by storing the number of an access request controller and the control information and changing the holding time in response to a set value. CONSTITUTION:The control information from access request stack devices 300, 301... and the number of access request controllers 20, 21... are stored in storage sections 400, 401... corresponding to the devices 20, 21... of a storage device 40 via an access request processor 310 of a storage controller 30 and transferred to the devices 20, 21... via data controllers 320, 321.... The storage devices 400, 401... comprise a multi-stage latch, the number of latch stages is selected in response to the set value of one latch and the storage holding time is changed. Thus, the change in the access time of the elements of the storage 30 and the change in the types of elements are done surely and easily only with the change in the set value of one latch. |
