When the start point (Ps) of a profile/shape (OLF) is designated, a plurality of graphic elements (Ca1 SIMILAR Ca4) having commonly the start point (Ps) as their end points are determined. The travelling direction of the profile/shape (OLF) from the start point (Ps) is depicted and designated selectively by an arrow (ARW) to determine the first element (Ca1) of the profile/shape (OLF), and point of intersection between this first element (Ca1) and a graphic element (C1) existing ahead in the travelling direction is determined. If the point of intersection thus determined is only one, it is decided as the terminal point of the first element of the profile/shape (OLF) and if a plurality of points of intersection exist, the terminal point of the first element of the profile/shape (OLF) is selected and determined from among these points of intersection (P1, P2). The next element of the profile/shape (OLF) is sequentially determined by use of the terminal point (Pe1) of the first element of the profile/shape (OLF) as a new start point and the profile/shape is finally defined.
|
