PURPOSE:To reduce misformation of a file by reflecting the file forming information of a terminal equipment inputted by a host computer to the file of the terminal equipment and controlling file formation information and a file free space information for the file forming medium of the terminal equipment by a host computer. CONSTITUTION:The file formation information 12-1 of the terminal equipment 2 inputted by the host computer 1 is automatically reflected to the file of the terminal equipment 2 and the file formation information and file idle area information 12-3 for the file formation medium 22 of the terminal equipment 2 are automatically checked when necessary and controlled by the host computer 1. Thereby, the file formation and change of the terminal equipment 2 can be freely executed on the host computer 1 side and the terminal equipment 2 side. Consequently, a file manager on the terminal equipment 2 is omitted and operation reducing misformation of a file is attained.
