An exemplary coating machine component includes a molded base body and a functional element for providing at least one of mechanical stiffening, chemical and/or electrical functionalizing of the coating machine component. The functional element may be made from a material having a greater mass density than the base body. An exemplary functional element may be a coating that is at least partially applied to the base body.
