<p>The mortar is manufactured with the aid of a composition which comprises, per cubic metre of sand the particle size of which does not exceed 3 mm, approximately from 60 to 100 kg of cement and approximately from 0.5 to 2 kg of hygroscopic powder made of a synthetic, preferably nonbiodegradable polymer the particles of which are approximately between 0.8 and 3 mm in size. These ingredients are intended to be mixed with a quantity of water of approximately between 200 and 300 l. Application to the coating of underground electrical cables for conveying energy in order to protect them mechanically and to ensure an environment which has good heat-dissipation characteristics, so as to increase the energy-conveying capacity.</p> |
