<p>The device comprises a rotor having a central pin a plurality of concentrically arranged cylinders and a sprocket wheel, adapted for mesh engagement with a rack fixed to the sidewall of a drawer compartment. The device also comprises a stator adapted for being attached to a drawer and rotatably mounted on the pin and having a plurality of concentrically arranged cylinders interposed between those of the rotor. Relative movement of the rotor and the stator is controlled by an arrangement of co-operating grooves, a cam, and a ball, and a high density fluid interposed between the cylinders.</p> |
