<p>1. Method of attaching a longitudinal end of a strip of flexible material to a fastening part, characterised in that it consists : - in longitudinally folding said end at least once on to itself so as to produce at least one seam (14, 15), - in gathering the seamed end in pleated manner so as to produce a pad (12) in the shape of a fan, - in using a fastening part endowed with a housing (8) having a longitudinal section of flared shape matching the shape of the pad, said housing having an open longitudinal end in the direction of its apex, - in arranging pad (12) in said housing of the fastening part, whereby the strip extends beyond said housing through the open end of the latter so as to cause automatic blocking of the pad when the strip is subjected to tension.</p> |
