A coupling for hoses or tubes, such as a coupling of the quick-acting type comprising a sleeve and a nipple for insertion into the sleeve comprises an inner part (1) adapted to be screwed onto a tap, e.g. a water tap, said inner part (1) being partly or completely surrounded by an outer part (9) formed by e.g. a sleeve or a nipple of the quick-acting coupling and at least one of the two parts (1, 9) being provided with a circular groove (6, 8), where a locking means is engaged in such a way as to enable the outer part (9) to rotate freely in relation to the inner part (1), at least in the unscrewing direction.
